Shayne Easson resides in Millarville, Alberta, with his wife Amanda, daughters Hailee and Kaylan, and son Owen. Raised in the small town of Clearwater, British Columbia, he moved to the Calgary area in 2000 where he became a Master Electrician and co-founded Alcon Electrical Corp., an electrical construction company that has quickly become one of the most dependent construction outfits in Alberta. Outside his business efforts, Shayne finds relaxation with writing. The seeds of creativity were nurtured by a series of short stories he wrote in High School. The character Riordan, from The Wrath of Zar, was created in a short story titled The Guardian. Shayne credits that story for the inspiration for his Demons of Destiny series. Not all his time is spent at work or on the computer. When the weather is favorable, he and his family enjoy fishing and camping in the beautiful Canadian Rockies.
